AICTE decides not to approve more part-time MBA courses
Here’s some bad news for the Management institutes, AICTE decides not to approve more part-time MBA courses anymore. This step is taken up by AICTE mainly because many B-schools are misusing the facility and running other programmes on the pretext of a part-time MBA programme.
Now, this sudden change will affect a huge number of colleges and students in the country. And so, the concerned B-schools are quite unhappy about this step taken up by AICTE. About 2,500 AICTE-approved management schools are there in India. Most management institutes will suffer a great loss.
These part-time management programmes help the experienced people to gain more knowledge and skills. More than freshers, experienced people learn management much better. This measure taken up by AICTE will affect a lot on them too. And this step will also make the fees of higher education more costlier than before which will in turn prevent the growth and development of the working professionals.
