I think technology must be used more and more for education. Sometimes there is not only a misapprehension of technology but a misuse of it as well. The internet can be creatively used by the young and old alike. Social networking sites can be used not only for personal communication but for creative and aesthetic purposes. Above all education is the governing spirit. It manoevres everything. Skype can be used to deliver lectures. A simple thing such as email can be used for education both synchronously and asynchronously. The text chat is another such example. We have to create and recreate our own resources. Podcasting that is radio broadcasting is another potent source for education. One can go on to more complex devices such as the Youtube, but technology is there at our doorsteps to be effectively used. Integration of the radio, television and the computer is what podcasting is. There is a way to manipulate technology for teaching and learning creating a world out of time and space. Technology and communication devices are concomitants.
