Bidhan Bhattacharyya's success story
Hi All ,
I passed out from NSEC on 2004 , but I got job on Feb,2006 . That time market was very good . But I was not getting job . Lot of reasons are there . We started to do copy in time of exam from 3rd yr 1st sem . It was the first and root cause not to get a job . The name of the college was not in the database of the most of the companies . So I was not getting any call from any company though I was in Bangalore that time . I got very few calls(6, all were reference call)in this almost 2 yr period . I was rejected after hr interview from Texas Instruments . I was also rejected from Cosmic Circuits though my elder brother was a share holder and in very good position of that company .So life was very hectic and frastating . I started to think that this software/vlsi field is not for me . In this period I appeared in gate exam for 3 times . I did not make any score all the 3 times .
Suddenly I heard one company is going to be formed to serve analog/mixed-signal/memory/digital layouts to different companies . They will also provide training by taking money and they will try to placed them . I appeared for the exam to take training by giving money . But I got selected for the job not for training . Any way latter they canceled the program for training after our joining .
There was no miracle to get this job also . I prepared myself strongly in analysis of RLC circuits . I used to get the results of RLC circuits using conception not calculating . People should realize RLC and MOS based circuits . They should not calculate again and again . If people are calculating and completing their tasks that mean they are not realizing the things . As I am from ECE department I am taking RLC circuits as example but it is true for all type of engineering studies . You are calculating again and again means you are not understanding the things properly . First 3/4 times you can calculate after that you have to analyze the things and get a result , then calculate to get 100% correct result .
So start to realize the things . Please don't loose your hopes . Currently I am working in IBM as R
