Trojan Attack-

Most trojan viruses use to replicate themselves in our system.These trojans sometimes proove to be very hard to move without affecting any data.This type of trojans basically spread from our most common friend- Pen Drive.

Trojans attitude is to attack the root directory and then then the whole PC.They leave a small hidden file named "Autorun.inf" which helps them to replicate on each Double Click.And once it is created, it makes itself write protected so that it cant be deleated in any case.

The best way to defend from trojan is to stop them from replication.And without replication any trojan is no more effective.So,,,,We just have to do is that, create a folder at the root drive and name it as "Autorun.inf".This will restrict any other folder(virus) named Autorun.inf thus your PC would be no more effect from any Trojan Virus.

Even the best way to protect your pen Drive is also the same.Do create a folder in it and name it Autorun.inf .Thats all..And you will notice the change yourself.....

Disable Autorun-

We should disable the autorun process in our PC which is by default setting of Microsoft.This resticts your removable media such as Pen Drive, CD, DVD, Memory Card etc. to open automatically when inserted, and helps us to be affected by any trojan or viruses..

So,,,,,,To disable autorun, we just have to do some bluff in our Security pannel..

Start > Run > Services.msc > Right click Autorun > Properties > click automatic and change it to DISABLE > OK> Apply > On left pane click STOP. Now exit the Services dialog box. And Enjoy......

But again dont forget to Reeboot the system...
