Carbon Trading may revive the earth

Global Warming has become the song of the day. The emission from the sun is because of the noticeable light and owing to the miniature amount of ultra violent and infrared rays. These emissions are the ones that make our beautiful earth very warm in addition to the heat emitted from the earth. The earth contains molecules which absorb these emissions and deflect them off the earth’s surface. This maintains the temperature on the earth thus sustaining human life.

However due to the increased degradation of the earth and pollution in particular, all these emissions are deflected back to the earth there by increasing the temperature to unbearable conditions and the talk of the day “Global Warming.” This has led to the many adversities that our universe is facing like the swift melting of polar regions, cyclones, floods and hurricanes to mention but a few. This has also come with its own problems like the increased diseases like Malaria, Typhoid, Cholera.

The latest trend that has been adopted to save the world from the evils of global warming is what many call Carbon Trading. In this there is a central authority which controls the emissions of pollutants that can be released to the atmosphere. Industrial houses are given emission permits which provide limitations to the amount of emission of their pollutants. The amount of carbon emitted must not go beyond the allowed rate on the permit. In this way if an industry wants to emit more carbon it has to buy rights from that industry that has free carbon points.

Carbon Trading allows a limit on all sources of carbon to trade amongst themselves. It involves industries that do not emit any carbon trading by selling off their carbon allowances there by making more profits. Carbon Trading will play a big role in reviving the earth and helping to save it from the increased green gas house emissions.
