Pre-pregnancy tips!
You will get lots of advices and tips during pregnancy. This blog is
especially for people who are in family planning stage. Do add these
tips to your planning phase (even before you put your plans to action).
It helped me a lot and hope some of you would benefit from it:Start
walking daily for at least 30min daily and then doing some relaxing
exercises. This would help during pregnancy as then you will not have
to force yourself to walk daily rather it would come naturally to you.Do
yoga especially "Pranayam" daily without fail. It prepares your body
internally for pregnancy by maintaining your BP, handling back pain and
lot more other benefits.Get your hemoglobin checked. It should
be around 14 before you get pregnant. For that you can have dates (but
this aggravates weight gain slightly), fruits of 2 types daily and
green vegetables especially spinach and salad. Have 2 glasses
of milk each day without fail and also include curd in afternoon meals.
Add 1 tsp honey to milk once (this helps in increasing hemoglobin).And if you are overweight, then reduce your weight, not through crash dieting rather through exercises.Start drinking at least 4ltrs. of water daily.And most important, be mentally prepared so that you can enjoy your pregnancy to the fullest. You
cannot plan everything ahead but some amount of planning always comes
