Kings XI Punjab has bought England all-rounder Ravi Bopara and the West Indian pace spearhead, Jerome Taylor. In addition they have also strengthened their team with another fast bowler from Australia - Burt Cockley.

In addition, Kings XI Punjab will continue its partnership with Australian south Paw-Shaun Marsh and Indian domestic players Tanmay Srivastava and Ajitesh Argal who shone for the team in 2008.

Ravi Bopara and Jerome Taylor have proved themselves to be extremely valuable cricketers on the international stage. Burt Cockley, the young Australian spearhead has churned out some impressive numbers while leading the attack for the New South Wales Blues in the Australian Domestic league.

Solid in every department of the game, the Kings XI Punjab are now the team to be feared. Leading the way is swash buckling Indian all rounder and captain Yuvraj Singh. The batting line-up boasts of stars such as Shaun Marsh, Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene. Jerome Taylor the right arm fast bowler from West Indies, will add to the solid bowling attack led by Brett Lee, Irfan Pathan and Sreesanth.

Kings XI Punjab and West Indian Ramnaresh Sarwan also amicably agreed to voluntarily terminate their contract together for the 2009 and 2010 IPL seasons.
