Let’s get one thing straight, if your answer is no, then you must try to focus on topics with more weightageand after clearing the concepts, you will be surely ready to answer each question violently.
Also, you will surely agree with the fact that you have been studying science for a long time, which was only to be differentiated in three subjects later on. But you can still understand where the grassroots develop from, from the very beginning!!
Like in case of Physics, students are expected to be well versed with topics such as Dynamics, Electromagnetism and Kinematics. NCERT, your Holy Bible…
All of the big name so called reference books copy questions from the NCERT, and even though these reference books have a lot more questions to solve, they are still highly unjustified as that makes your mind inoperative.
Please try to understand that if the requirement of questions was so large why did CBSE not add more questions in the NCERT and why do all the toppers recommend to study just from the NCERT. You can surely refer to other books, but just for practicing and not to cram all the tips and tricks as they say, since that all will surely block your mind.

Clear your basics with these recommended books…
As far as Physics is concerned, there is surely one name that must have rang in your ears- H.C.Verma and indeed! It is the best in clearing the basic concepts for topics such as Mechanics and Optics.
For topics like Electricity and Magnetism, Heat and Waves, our experts have recommended Resnick and Halliday Circuits, Designs and Systems written by R.J. Smith.
Book authored by Parmar& Chawla, namely Reaction Mechanism in Organic Chemistry is a brilliant book for the basics of Organic Chemistry, and as far as Inorganic Chemistry is concerned, the NCERT textbook and Concise Inorganic Chemistry written by J.D. Lee are good books to learn the basics and fundamental concepts.
Mathematics could be nightmare for some, which is why after a bit research the book that is considered to actually bring the basics on track is Hall and Knight’s High School Mathematics as it is great for understanding and practicing of Algebra.

Nothing to worry, life is not a bed of roses! You can surely move on to your advanced studies after you get the basics completely figured out, believe me everything gets a lot, lot easier, if you are familiar with the basics.
Also, if you find yourself bit lacking behind in any one of the topics, focus on improving the other two sections. Also, try to solve at least 10 to15 previous years question papers before appearing in JEE. This will help you get the right temperament of the exam.
Consistent study is the key to success. So, whether it is about chemistry, physics or math, the vital part in every section is solid preparation and regular revision of concepts, with only few months left for the JEE 2018, keep the goal in your mind and accelerate violently!!
