How to Use iCloud on the iPad?
Initial iCloud Setup Instructions
1.The first step to setting up use icloud on the ipad is to log in with your Apple ID and password. For users upgrading an iPad or iPhone to iOS 5.0, they will be prompted after the update to enter their Apple ID. For new users, as soon as you turn on the iOS device you will be prompted for your Apple ID and password. Learn more about setting up iOS 5.0.
2.In the resulting “Set Up iCloud” screen, make sure the on/off switch on the bottom is set to “On”.
3.Continue through the initial setup (Find My iPad, Diagnostics, etc.) until the setup is complete
iTunes in the Cloud Instructions
1.Open the “iTunes” app in the iPad.
2.Select the “Purchased” option/tab toward the bottom right of the screen. This is a new iTunes feature in iOS 5.0
3.Once in “Purchased”, you will notice two tabs at the top of the screen. Select the “Not on this iPad” tab which is on the right. This will open a list of all music that has been purchased on your Apple ID but is not loaded onto your iPad.
4.Select an artist whose music you wish to download to your iPad from iCloud.
5.Next, you will have the option to either download all music from that artist from iCloud to the iPad or to drill down to a specific song or album to download. To download all music from the artist (that you have previously purchased on your Apple ID), click the “Download All” button in the upper right. To download specific albums, navigate to that album and then click the “Download All” button. To download specific songs, navigate to the specific song and click the cloud icon to the right of the song name.
