Fixing Fatal System Error in Windows XP

A fatal system error message while booting a Windows XP operating system appears mainly due to device driver corruption, file system damage, and operating system crash.   5. Enter the 'Administrative' password, if asked during the installation.

  6. Change the folder using:

cd WINDOWS\$NtUninstallKB925902$\spuninst

  1. Execute the command:

batch spuninst.txt

  1. If the above command is successful, you might be able to view a spuninst.tag file using 'DIR' copmmand.

  2. Reboot your system.
