Railway Budget 2012
He has announced a lot of projects and given information
in the Last that the Railways are going through a difficult phase .
This itself indicated that there is going to be freight increase in the
Travel. Around 90% of People use the Railways in India
Because it is one of the chepest transport available
for aam aadmi I agree with Miss Mamta Banerjee that the train
fare increase directly have impact on aam aadmi.
As everybody aware the Govt is always try to affect the common man
by imposing tax and fare hike . Instead of doing that why the Govt
is not trying to take out Black Money and invest in Projects This will facilitate the Govt to divert the funds and train fare need not
be increased. There are some other projects which have been hinted
by NDA govt like Synchronisation rivers to reduce the floods and
initiate uniform rain fall all over India. We came to know Padmanabha
swamy temple revenue if it is extracted it can repay our world bank loan.
Govt has to work on those lines instead of always trying to overburden
the Common Man. The matters are very serious and need to be urgently
attended.
It is a welcome step the long standing demand of accommodating the
waitlisted passengers in separate compartment. This will definitely
put pressure on Tatkal reservation where people at the last moment
opt for if there is urgency for travel and for those who can not plan
prior. Modernisation is another concept which Railway Minister indicated
if we visit other countries we see beautiful railway stations with nice
facilities for commuters. Safety is another concept which was taken
in priority. Altogether Railway Budget except fare hike can be given
a percentage 80% of credibility.
