Cholesterol in foods

HR General Manager
Food Factor

As cholesterol is an integral component of the animal body, it is found only in foods from animal sources.. There is no cholesterol in plants.. The highest source is in organ meats like: brain, liver and kidney. Butter, egg yolk and lobster are common high sources. Though vegetable oil companies advertise the oil as zero-cholesterol, it does not mean that you can consume all the fried foods that are displayed in the ads!! Remember: all extra calories are converted to fat and partly to cholesterol!
