The ISB&M organised its Annual Media Conference Media Pulse .

The International School of Businesss and Media (ISB&M), Pune a leading B-school spearheaded by Dr. Pramod Kumar, President ISB&M organized their Annual Media Conference Media Pulse 08’. It was held on the 20th December 2008 at the ISB&M new campus, Pashan Sus Road.

The event was inaugurated by the traditional lighting of the lamp in the presence of the Chief Guest Mr. Sabbas Joseph, Director, Wiz craft, Keynote speaker, Mr. Ashutosh, Managing Editor, IBN7 and Dr. P K De, Director ISB&M.

The theme for the Media Pulse 08’ was “The Road Ahead -Changes, Challenges and Choices.” The Theme signifies- the present scenario of the media industry that is going through a phase of transformation.

This is an annual seminar hosted by ISB&M to discuss and debate about the various issues plaguing the media industry. It provides a platform to all media professionals to come ahead and express their thoughts and ideas for the industry and also provides a great learning experience.

Apart from a networking opportunity this conference provided valuable exposure to the Media community at large, to prepare for the future challenges and develop an aptitude for applying innovative methods to improve Media standard in India both from strategic and ethical aspects.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Pramod Kumar, President, ISB&M said, “We aim to provide a platform for experts and pioneers in the field of Media to share their knowledge, experience and ideas. Inspired by the growing success and popularity of Media in the past year, we decided to incorporate the academia in the event, thereby providing a larger scope of networking and knowledge sharing.”

Dr. P K De, Director ISB&M commented, “In a fast changing world the need to remain contemporary is a necessity. We provide you with this golden opportunity to review relearn and research the latest media tools and practices”.
