If you don't have I IDEA, I suggest you don't get one
Idea Cellular, referred to as Idea, is an Indian mobile network operators based in Mumbai, India. Idea is the 4th largest wireless carrier in Indian market with over 100 million customers and also provides broadband Internet to its customers, owned by the 3 corporate giants Birla-Tata-AT&T, who came to the discussion table with an IDEA.
My reason of blogging about this subject is my experience after buying an Idea data card. If you don’t have an “Idea” I suggest it best you don’t try to find one. Ignorance is bliss. Abhishek Bachchan in the Idea ad has got me roped in into getting an IDEA and now I am frustrated why I even got one.
This data card I use is totally ineffectual and after multiples times of login disconnections I manage to check my mail using HTML option most of the time. My cell phone network works better than this.
Well, How I look at this is “I am to blame”, for getting fooled by corporate branding and looking at Abhishek Bachchan as a public figure who I presumed would indorse a quality products to the masses.
But their strategy on creating a good brand worked, however the company operational skills is in a mess and I think couple of their big corporate heads should be sacked.
There are many complains on network and its performances on the internet, besides over billing, bad customers service agents as a bonus to your valuable money.
One thing about doing business is India, anyone can get away with anything and that includes the IDEA. No one is really held accountable, look at the news its filled with scams no one really goes to jail except a few, which you can actually count on your finger tips.
Given bad service had become a norm and no one really takes ownership or is held accountable, “if not you we will have other customers” is what is pasted on the mind set of big management level heads.
This is my first blog on the Public Crusader and I will write many more as the days and weeks passes by. I hope to interact with my readers and would love to read their comments. Good or Bad!
