Why do people go behind unrealistic targets ???
"Last year we achieved 1 Mil $. This year we will be having a target of 2 Mil $....fasten your sit belts and starts working "
So what if we have achieved 1 Mil $ last year......are we clean in the existing business ? are our customer's satisfied ?
And one major question here is how many orders we are going to get from repeat customers ?
Do we need to grab new customers every time or should we pamper old customers to get the repeat orders ?
But if the old customer goes away then what will happen to our existing target ?
This and that .........so many questions and that many options ....
Nobody actually went ahead and gave the perfect answer or option.
So is it like increasing the target can keep my company growing or should I do some study internally to streamline the existing customer care so that in remaining time I can focus on new client acquisitions.
While studying all this in my post graduation I always thought its easy to come to a decision but now when I am actually facing the challenge I got the exact idea of how much deep study I will require to carry forward.
One fine day I was sitting in the office and one of my big ace employee approached me and said
"sir I am Leaving from today "
That's it ??? is the long term relationship strategy comes to an end so easily ???
so now the next question is should I focus on employee satisfaction first ?
Hmmm so the bigger I expect the tougher it will be.
