Lessons Learned from work ....
Sometime things do not turn as we expect. We would have planned for something but the result would be somewhere just the reverse. There could be bitter cases out of all these and can go beyond the control . I have experienced that few days back. I was really in a real dilemma what to do and what not .
Its like you do a mistake or not but finally if things do not come as was expected then you are definitely the person explainable. You will be put on trial and would be held responsible for the job done. In these situation all will leave your hand as no one will ever want to be in the danger region. This is where you need to strong enough and face the situation.
That time would be very hectic and nothing will come to your mind. All blank. Where to start from. Who to contact. You know, whole lot of questions and you are not in a position to get solutions for a single.
Always remember, when ever you are all alone there is definitely an opportunity for you. But I must say we seriously need a backing at this time. If you take up the challenge and execute the plan well , making things in place then you conquer the battle. The next moment afterwards is only yours with whole lot of appreciation.
My personal experience says, during such a complex period, just close your eyes for sometime. Forget everything that you expect will happen as the consequence and concentrate only on the things to be taken care now. I strongly believe that in a professional environment we should always be bold enough to accept the mistake we did. We have to throw the ego and beg apology if we did any mistake. I have gone through such a situation where I found myself in trouble out of nothing . The load has changed in the application and what ever we have implemented and tested before is not reproducible currently. Client is not interested to listen any such explanation where we talk about the previous load. situation for a escalation. We have revisited the new load and implemented everything again. Got many appreciation for setting up things so quickly and bounced back with flying colors. But the period i came across was an amazing experience for me.
