Having migrated to the US and worked in the US and Singapore for more than two decades, I am not too familiar with current status of the industries in India.

SMT manufacturing requires heavy financial investments for real estate, machinery, raw material inventory, consistent utilities, staffing, training, and stable manpower.

What I read and watch in the international news platforms, I am sure India has all of the above.
