Suma M S's success story
I was student of Mount Carmel College from 1969 to 1973. I did my B.sc with Chemistry Botony Zoology. When I joined the college I was very shy and afraid of facing people. But when I passed out of the college I was full confidence and fearless. after working in a Nationalised Bank for 25 years I took voluntary retirement and then I started learning Japanese language. Last year I participated in the Speech contest (Japanese) and won 4th place in B'lore and was qualified for south zone contest at Chennai. There I got I prize and qualified for the National level contest at New Delhi in March this year. There again I won the I prize in the senior level and thus qualified for visiting Japan under JENESYS programme(Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for students and Youths)I visited Japan during 16th June 2009 to 25th June 2009. This was my dream come true. Thanks to my Alma mater.
