Excerpts from the Interview:
Data Recovery and Digital Forensics covers a wide arena. How hard it was and it is to set a grip with targeted users in a global competitive environment.
Tools to protect data and prevent data loss are the part of Disaster Recovery plan of the companies. Data is critical resource now days and its loss is unacceptable. Our tools represent solutions that help in email and database recovery for DBMS/RDBMS. Moreover, the tool for digital forensics also concentrates on investigating evidences of some popular mailing database.
We agree that the data recovery market has different teams giving major contribution in this discipline. Although a performer solution is the requirement of industry but how the defined job is simplified is also a matter to give a thought. This is the reason why we have successfully serviced a million satisfied users till date.
What made a company with Indian-Origin acclaim global acceptance?
We started up with the mentation to help small and large scale companies to work around data recovery and migration needs. Data, time, and money are assets of enterprises and thus we ensured that our solutions save all of them through efficient coding and understanding over the challenges faced by users.
We offer a range of products to the users that prevents them from both loss of data saved on premise and on cloud. In addition to this, we have developed multiple ways to offer our services which includes data recovery from files through Remote Access and related solutions packed in bundle. More than this, I think it’s the potential of tool that impresses our users first.
There are very less companies in India that practice digital forensics or develop products in this domain. How did SysTools think of implementing this not so popular subject and making it useful at international level?
Although, a lot of preventive measures are taken to secure the cyber-world but still the lack of awareness and over-the-top techniques to deceive a normal user by hackers have made cyber world a scary place. Not only a common man is affected by this, businesses are facing a loss due to this.
Through our recovery tools and investigation products, we have ensured that collected artifacts are forensically examined and reported in the court of law. Also, to make India fight against cyber-crime, our consultancy services through toll-free number is available round the clock through our initiative that is popular as Cyber Crime Investigation and Research Center (CCIRC). Also, we have team of experts who are engaged in collaborating with government bodies to give a right end to DigiScams.
