• Dr. R. L. Raina, Director, LBSIM, was awarded 'Certificate of Honor' from Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centre (IASLIC) on March 18, 2006, "in recognition of his admirable initiative, imagination, creativity and interest for the development and modernization of Library Information System in our country."
• Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, faculty member, has been appointed as one of the reviewers for the Organizational Behavior section of the International Conference on "Knowledge, Action, and Public Concern", being organized by the Academy of Management (AOM), USA, during August 11-16, 2006, at Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
• Dr. Susheel Chhabra has been appointed as the Guest Editor for a special issue(July-Sept’2007) on “Strategic e-business model for government ’’ by Idea group for International Journal of electronic government research .
