What Is The Criteria for a Securities Backed Loan ?

Business Development
Volume of trading, price volatility history, and total portfolio value will all go into the evaluation mix and many of our clients have been surprised to see that their very low-priced shares have received very attractive loan offers.

And then there are those who feel they can't qualify because they have something other than stocks. Perhaps they have mutual funds. Or corporate bonds. Or Treasury Strips. Or municipal bonds. Everything but stocks.

Once again, good news. An investor need not just have stocks to be eligible for our loan programs. We can accept a wide range of securities, with almost the only criteria being that they be thoroughly vetted and real. HedgeLender only works with actual securities and securities owners, but if you have real securities (and we will thoroughly verify), we almost certainly will have a program for you.

One of the criteria that is a bit more rigid is that we need to see solid trading volume over time. Shares of "companies with good prospects" that haven't been trading for long, or have a few trading days that have spiked the average trading numbers unnaturally, will not qualify. We do need real securities with a market.

But outside of that, we're open for business. And there's never any obligation when you explore, in confidence, what sort of loan your portfolio may qualify for. Why not inquire today
