Vivek Garg's success story
I have passed out in 1984 in Civil discipline and start looking for jobs but in those days govt sector was overfull and no vacancies. I shifted to Delhi and joined a contracting firm with a starting salary of Rs. 1200/- pm. After working hard and learning the practical aspects of project execution to the finest level in 1987, I got chance to join DLF, where I learned about township development. meanwhile in 1991, I joined MBA-PT at IMT, Ghaziabad for honing my skills and to improve my qualifications. Those days I used to live in Noida, work in Gurgaon and classes were in Delhi; thus traveling around 150 km per day on scooter. Later I got a good jump in Ansals and joined them as Project incharge for a township project. sofar the situation for civil engineers has not improved in market and we outsupplied the demand and hence roughly treated. after ansals I spend a year on oversees project in Dubai and then joined Mahindras oon their Agra project. Sofar I have establised a list of completed projects behind me and was considered a project man with expertise in township development and commissioning of projects. This helped me getting an oppurtunity to join Parsvnath Developers as DGM and started many projects from scratch to logical level in almost all the states and all project types like, residential,commercial, infrastructure, institutional, townships etc. here I picked up skills in the overall aspect of real estate business and started my contribution in all the areas of real estate business like business dev, commercial activities, team building, finance besides my project delivery responsibilities. Here I rose upto the rank of Vice President (projects). Currently I have taken up the role of CEO with Sandesh Group in Ahmedabad and we are in the process to build up a real estate venture with a sound base and true professionalism. In my experience, the success is in hard work with common sense and a dash of good luck. best of luck to all.
