What spot healing tool actually does is it picks up the area around the brushes radius and replaces the zit with the clear skin. Follow the same procedure picking up the small spots by this tool, once we have removed all the small spots. We take the patch tool from the tool bar and start making selections of areas wherever we see red patches or cluster of zits. Here we use patch tool as it would take much more time if we use spot healing tool to keep on clicking on the large affected areas. So we make a selection of the affected area and drag it to where we see clearer skin. Once we have dragged it there by holding the left mouse button, let go of the LMB and the affected area automatically gets replaced with clearer one. What this tool did was it just replaced the bad area of skin with better one.

Follow the same procedure by increasing or decreasing the brush size in case of spot healing depending on the detail and also don't forget to zoom in to get those really small zits That’s it.
