Animation is emerging a special form of media now days it’s growing in to multibillion dollar industry generative a great scope of employment for those who are creative having a lot passion and imaginative skills.
The art of animation started with the caveman who used to draw pictures on the rocks surface. Then who can forget Walt desney for the creation of his cartoons especially the Mickey Mouse! In the present it means linking the series of drawing and simulating their movement together.

Personality –
Animation is a creative thing so one needs to be creativity and imaginative skills, and should be good in sketching /drawing visualization and choice of colors and acting too. Though this profession seems quite unglamorous but it requires complete dedication and interest in it then the person can enjoy in working this field.

Education Qualification –
For diploma or bachelor degree in animation one needs to have passed 12th standard.
For Post Graduate Programme one should d have a bachelor degree in any discipline preferably in arts. And basic knowledge in computer is also required.

Scope in this career-

Animation is a sparking career option even though it is at its nascent stage in India.
NASSCOM says that India is a gaming industry (computer game and mobiles games) is expected to generate $424 million by the 2010. NASSCOM has projected a creation of an additional 3,00,000 jobs in this sector in next few years. Indian animation industry has a great potential. India has great mythological stories and character, good artist and technicians. There will be growing needs for animator in the film industry; no other artistic career carries the sheer opportunity which animation will provide for year to come.
