Prevention is better than cure
Prevention is better than cure
A five words proverb telling us the greatest essence of life from a child, to an adolescent, to an adult and old man. A man is known and made by his words, deeds and thought. So, better to improve these things and prevent if from becoming bad. In student’s life we lead a carefree and irresponsible life. They enjoy and take the joy of all the funs and advertures. So should always be a little careful for small things or they can ruin our whole life and we become an irresponsible person in the eyes of everyone.
We should be satisfied with what we have suppose, your friend bought a new video game you went to his house and played it. You liked it very much and borrowed for a few days. You played it all the time in the home forgetting about the studies and other jobs. You become irresponsible. This can make irresponsible and away from studies not for only a month but for the whole life. You might have heard the saying ‘A stitch in time saves nine’ it is very important as a work that becomes bending creates a lot of backlog work.
You should be confident and firm and not to go under peer pressure. Suppose, you went to a new school and fell into a bad company that forced you to take alcohol and drugs. You refused to do this but under peer pressure you did this and become drug addict. So we should always take permission of the elders. They always support us in right decision. They give us firm shoulder and we also come out of pressure. We should always see the work before doing ‘look before you leap’.
In the adolescent age, again we use our mind in opposite sex. This leads to various diseases such as AIDS and many others. This ruins our whole life. We should prevent the bad thing to happen rather than to cure it. Time gone never returns we should save the time rather than crying when the time is gone. We should do our all the works on a particular time according to the time table that we should always make according to our works.
So at last I would say that all the sayings have a meaning that can save our life and if not followed can also ruin our life. That is why it is said- ‘prevention is better than cure’.
