SAP GTS is a package where business will get comprehensive support for all global trade activities.
SAP GTS supports
Export Management
Import Management
Trade Preference Management
Restitution Managment
SAP GTS have tight integration with applications like R/3, any legacy system, CRM/SRM. It has also data integration with HTS, ECCN etc. GTS have BP integration with Banks, customer, supplier, frieght forwarder, customs agents etc.
GTS pulls data from SO, DEL, PI from OTC process & PO, Shipping notification, GR from P2P process.
SAP GTS have mainly three components
SAP Risk Management
SAP customs Management
SAP compliance Management
Compliance managment supports international trade compliance issues.
1) SPL
2) ELL
3) ILL
SAP customs management provides enterprise with support for automating & standardizing import & export process.
Supports Transit / Presentation
Customs Processing for imports / exports
Classification
Document printing
Also manage to create L/C'S
