T20 World Cup next to IPL?
T20 world cup can be called as little brother of IPL which is only child of Lalit Modi, sorry to say i know it can hurt modi fans but its a compliment that how Lalit Modi had nourished this child and how it became more important than a democratic biggest event which come once in Five years, yeah some time twice a year too but don't bother Uncle Ambedkar decided to organize this political wedding once in five year only, Lait Modi and Hon'ble Narendra Modi, i must say both have so many common characterstics, It is not bad to say that with the course of time Lalit Modi had tighten his grip on BCCI and now he is an alias to BCCI, same applied for Narendra Modi, three time winner of State elections had proved himself and now he holding his majority in BJP.
T20 cricket is the most entertaining and profitable buisness but Mr. Subhas Chandra who spend billions to encourage ICL was a looser end of the day only beacuse of BCCI, its really ironic that International Cricket Association is weaker than a national cricket association. BCCI had overthrown all other cricket boards around the world and become most powerful board.
If BCCI is organizing any series or cricket event than definately they can make it a huge success, bringing renowned players and buying them through the IPL franchise is the proof.
Who is waiting for T20 world, not me, even i don't know how much interest is left with the people? What to say within two weeks another international cricket event i.e World Cup. India is current champion, what news channel use to say "Dhoni Brigade". IPL has stolen all attarction and it is tough to say that T20 world cup will pump same enthusiam within the audience or spectators .
I am waiting only for the Cheer Leaders, at least in this format of world cup the indian government will not have any boundation on cheer leader's exposure and dance

This T20 world cup will be just like other matches of IPL olny difference would be Mathew Hayden hitting sixes will definately hurt Dhoni. Let wait and see if T20 world cup can generate any revenue figure near to IPL?
