Many other social networks came then disappeared later from the list of Social Networks. But, Microsoft has launched its own Social Network known as So.cl which is under testing phase from December, 2011.

 Best part in So.cl is whatever you’ll search others will get to know about what you have searched. Obviously, Privacy mode is then termed as “Public” and “Private”.

Question is which network will change the Social Media world in future. Well, it’s a difficult question but somehow we have managed to find out some points which can help in figuring the relative answer.

Here are few points:

• Among these 3-social networks, Search term [in So.cl] and Tweet [of Twitter] has shorter lifespan than Facebook Status Update. A Facebook update stays for long on people timeline whereas Number of people searching & tweeting so your searched query and tweet get lost somewhere in the crowd of updates.
• On Facebook connecting with others results as a Friend but

• on Twitter & So.cl, people follow others on interest based topics. Facebook friends can build meaningful relationships easily whereas on Twitter & So.cl, it’s depend on the people whether they followed back to you or not and also depends on your searches [in So.cl] and your profile’s bio, number of followers & tweets [in Twitter].
• Speed matters a lot. You can update tweets [in Twitter] or searched queries [in So.cl] faster than Facebook. Having large number of followers on Twitter & So.cl can proves to be more effective and can create an instant viral effect for news/an important update but to make longer effect of news Facebook is the better option to you.
• So.cl is under testing phase so some drawbacks are there. Adding pictures is one of the major drawbacks. A Microsoft Fuse lab is behind the project of So.cl.
