India's poor performance at Champions trophy has again shown that despite all the euphoria before the series, our country has lost the first match & was saved from certain defeat in the second by the rain Gods & it is evident that they will not make it to the semi finals.
During the series, India even managed to get the top slot in ICC team rankings without even playing a single match. After their first encounter (on cricket field) with Pakistan they were dethroned from the top slot of ICC team rankings.
India's performance as a team has failed time & again inspite of having top class players with huge amount of experience in their kitty. Our bowling attack has always lacked the killer instinct. We have won the matches in recent past mostly on good batting show and very rarely on good bowling performance.
Its high time for the Indian team to learn their lessons & improve their all round performance.
