How to be different ?
The same demand and supply law follows : DEMAND IS HUGE; SUPPLY IS LESS.
Big names are willing to give away huge amounts to get them in number. Such companies might even be able to lay their hands on sharepoint guys. But what abt those companies who are good on quality terms but small in size, fewer in number ??
Trend says people go where people pay. In such situation how can a small organization, who has good number of highly specialized projects, who has track records of successfully taking over projects from those big companies who failed at them drastically, who has achieved MS certifications in lesser time that even big ones take years to achieve, - how does a small organization hire sharepoint professionals and get them to join ? Is pay the only factor ?
I am asking this to all those mentors in IT understanding this situation and to all those recruiters out there tryings to get their hands on the same domain.
