Apple iPhone 4S battery fixing iOS 5.1 hits developers

With many iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S users still suffering from severe battery drain issues thanks to a bug in the iOS 5 software Apple has released a new iOS 5.1 Beta to developers in an attempt to amend the well publicised issues.

The second iOS 5.1 Beta to make its way to developers the software fix is in a final stage of testing before being rolled out to users in an attempt to quell the battery problems that has seen unattended handsets lose a full charge in a matter of hours.

Afflicting batches of the latest generation Apple handset the iPhone 4S battery woes have been widely attributed to the most recent iOS software offering with the system’s time zone features repeatedly blamed for the depleting battery.

Attempting to rectify the problems recently Apple launched iOS 5.0.1 to little affect with many users stating the battery life had stayed the same whilst offers claimed it had worsened.
