Experiential learning: Universal Business School

UBS has formed a 50 member senate called the ‘UBS Senate’ which comprises of CEOs, Directors and Vice Presidents/Functional Heads. This step has been taken up in order to make sure that UBS has a strong interface with the industry. The Senate meets twice every year in order to review the academic processes and teaching pedagogy. Its main purpose is to ensure that the curriculum adopted for the courses meets the requirements of the industry. When the students complete their academic year, assignments will be given to them, based on the curriculum decided by the Senate along with a chance to interact with the industry heads so that they can an opportunity to show their skills. Through these interactions, the students will get picked for their summer internships and final placements when the students graduate.
