A downside for this particular Sony Vaio is the battery isn’t easily removable (must use screwdriver and take off the entire bottom plate), it’s embedded into the laptop. With the inability to simply swap battery packs in and out of the machine Sony is leaving you with only one option for extra battery life on the move, buy their proprietary Sony VAIO S Series sheet battery (model number:VGP-BPSC29).
