Creative Production - An awesome combination

It has always been a trend where creativity within deadline has been always a challenge. It is a known fact in creative industry that designers always love their creation/creative a lot than anything in the world. It’s an awesome feel that even I have come across during my initial phase of designer career. The suggestions or inputs from anyone (no matter the advise was from a leading Creative Director) used to be literally over the head though they will be incorporated as advised.

One step ahead, as a designer starts working on more creative’s and started getting recognized for his creative thought (incorporating the suggestions), he turns to be a matured designer who then walks that extra mile to think out of box having customer’s expectation in mind.

In today’s BPO setup creative production is an awesome module that provides a huge opportunity for every creative guy to become a matured designer and laterally allows him to be renowned a creative geek. The pain involved in this transformation is nothing than dedication and acceptance to changes. It’s a beautiful feeling of being free to accept changes and move ahead rather staying in a solitary confinement state.

As the global need towards creative requirement has been increasing in a huge pace, many BPOs evolved to cater the creative services. India apart from staying a hub to cater IT and back office needs evolved to transform serving creative solutions to companies across the globe. The key for the transformation was obviously the skill set, multitasking and people who always approach with a can do attitude. This transformation besides providing employment opportunities has always stayed in enhancing the skill set and bridging the barrier of cultural difference.

Today creative outsourcing has become one of the main sectors where fortune companies are focusing to diversify the business as this domain remains a very attractive sector that has a huge market. Alike the companies looking to diversify their business, it has become a very big area for career growth that is easily understood by today’s youngsters that drives them to jump into this domain immaterial of them graduated in any stream. Today we are able to see lots of training institutions that offers training starting from 3months to 5years in the field of graphic design and animation where people are able to mend their thoughts and skill set, which offers them an opportunity to find a job in the graphic design and animation industry.

It’s always been a challenge where the course offered in the institution does not meet all the industry standards for a fresher to be productive in this domain but it’s a collective effort that needs to be rendered by the students to ensure they are aware of global standards and are able to relate to things on the other side of the globe. Though there will be a formal process training and cultural training provided by the organization, it would be a good base for the fresher’s/experienced folks to relate/know their end users/target audience. It starts from the lifestyle that we lead v/s the audience in New York/Westminster or other parts of the globe.

The BPO sector for creative outsourcing does not have a boundary in the products that are delivered. It varies from designing a small business card to yellow page advertisement, news paper advertisements, online banner ads, menu, brochures, flyers, campaigns, branding solutions, video advertisement, 3D animations and what not. It’s even a great achievement that all these services are provided within a very short turn around that varies from an hour to a week.

Key areas for success of this module:

As other outsourcing standards, the service is offered 365 days with 24/7 operations.

Steady state workflow and operations

High touch customer support

Bridged cultural difference

High end technology support that keeps the client updated on the status of the creative

Very short turnaround time and as always skilled manpower with always an urge to learn new stuffs

What is that still missing?

The pace at which the youngsters are able to adapt and deliver high end creative quality adhering the deadline

The conversion ratio of a good creative designer to a sensible designer/matured designer

Is there anything else missing?

It’s you if still not part of the creative production environment.
