Finally, I Get Back my Lost Photos
Last Sunday, I came back from college roommate’s wedding with plenty of shinny wedding pictures as well as other scene images. This is my first trip to her town, besides attending her wedding, I also visit some famous spots. When got home, I was urgent to share this experience with all my family members. When they sat together before my Mac, I take out the memory card from my Canon camera and connect it to PC with card reader. While all of us were waiting, something went awry to the memory card as the Mac stated: “no image found”. The Mac did can detect the card but no photos can be accessible and reviewable. I inserted the card for several times with no luck. This made me frustrated for I have no backup of all these photos. I asked my friend who is good at computer technology for help. He told me there still have choices to get back the lost data and I need to download a memory card photo recovery tool. Under his suggestion, I search the memory card recovery software for Mac in Google, finally, I download Card Data Recovery for Mac and install it on My Mac. Then I run this tool and scan my card with that tool. After that, I was astonished to find all my photos displayed on its task list. I even can preview them clearly and completely. At last, I recover all my precious photo and share all my interesting episodes during this journey with my family. That memory card recovery software spend me $29.95. However, I think it is worthy of that money.
From this experience, I know about there are many scenario may cause data loss if the camera was not used properly. For example, keep shooting pictures when the battery is low, shut down the camera while the picture is not saved completely, read/write errors of the digital camera, or some human errors like mistakenly press “format”, “delete”, etc. Of course, to avoid of data loss, have a backup of memory card is necessary.
