Christmas Movies for Kid in 2011

The Christmas season is already here. With all the things you need to prepare this Christmas, what about your kids? It is one of the best times of the year, especially for those of us who have young children in your household. Maybe your family can get in the spirit of Christmas with the great Christmas movies, and you'd better prepare for this holiday early. Here are some Christmas movies your kids should not miss out this year. Also, these movies can help your kids pass time on the road, if you have the plan to take a trip to far places. But don't forget, an iPad and the ipad movie transfer are needed.

Rango

Rango (Depp) is a pet chameleon who accidentally winds up in the town of Dirt, a lawless outpost in the Wild West in desperate need of a new sheriff. The movie is ILM’s first animated feature and they’ve brought a truly unique look to the animation. Rango promises to be smart, savvy and steeped in enough western genre nods to appeal to movie buffs of all ages.

Rio

A nerdy but kind-hearted blue macaw (Zombieland’s Jesse Eisenberg) is sent from Minnesota to Brazil to save his species by breeding with a female macaw (Anne Hathaway). But to win her heart he must confront his fear of flying, and outwit the likes of poachers, thieves and bulldogs. From the director of the Ice Age trilogy, this is more musical, and has a bright, vibrant visual appeal. Warning: any child you take to see this will want a parrot. LOL

Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom Of Doom

Po (Jack Black), now a kung fu master, protecting the valley of peace with Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) and The Furious Five – Monkey (Jackie Chan), Crane (David Cross), Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Viper (Lucy Liu), and Mantis (Seth Rogen). But soon they have to join forces with another group of kung fu masters — Thundering Rhino (Victor Garber), Soothsayer (Michelle Yeoh) and Croc (J-C Van Damme), in order to defeat Lord Shen (Gary Oldman), an evil emperor peacock who emerges with a weapon so powerful, it threatens the existence of kung fu itself. Simple, if you liked the first one, you’ll like this.

Cars 2

By Pixar’s standard, Cars was their weakest moment. But the merchandising power of that movie was phenomenal, and it’s just made too much money for them to ignore. While Toy Story 3 was their take on the prison break movie, Cars 2 is their go at the accidental spy thriller. Race car Lightning McQueen (Wilson) and tow truck Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) head to Japan and Europe to compete in the World Grand Prix, but Mater is mistaken for an agent and ends up working with Finn McMissile (Caine).

The Smurfs

When evil wizard Gargamel (Hank Azaria) chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world into New York city. Now they must find a way back home before Gargamel tracks them down. Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays play an expectant couple whose lives are turned upside down by the arrival of the Smurfs.

Puss In Boots

It’s a Shrek spin-off, but except for Puss (Banderas) this features all new characters. In fact, it doesn’t overlap with Shrek much at all, focusing on the swashbuckling cat’s 3D adventures before he appeared in Shrek 2. Kitty Softpaws (Hayek) is Puss’s female counterpart and love interest. Humpty Dumpty (Galifianakis, good casting) is a mastermind intent on stealing golden eggs from a special goose.

Arthur Christmas

Santa (Jim Broadbent) has an ultra-high-tech operation hidden beneath the North Pole in order to deliver billions of presents in one night, and this year he’s giving his son, Arthur (James McAvoy), a special mission that must be completed before Christmas morning.

The Adventures Of Tintin: Secret Of The Unicorn

Spielberg’s first animated movie is a performance-capture 3D depiction of Tintin’s (Jamie Bell) first encounter with Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis). After finding a clue to the treasure of ancestor Sir Francis Haddock, they set out together to find it, with protection from a prison escapee.

Hugo Cabret

Fantasy-adventure based on Brian Selznick’s part-novel part-comic about an orphan boy in the 1930′s living a secret life in the walls of a Paris train station where he maintains the clocks, and thieves to survive. When Hugo encounters a broken automaton, an eccentric girl (Kick-Ass’s Chloë Moretz), and the reserved man who runs the toy shop, he is caught up in a magical adventure that could put all of his secrets in jeopardy.

Alvin And The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked

The Chipmunks and the Chipettes are on vacation aboard a luxury cruise ship, turning the place into their personal playground, until they become ‘chip-wrecked’ on a desert island. As Dave frantically searches for them, they do what they do best – sing, dance and wreak havoc. But they’re in for a surprise when they embark on an island adventure with their new friend, a castaway who’s more than a match for them. If you’ve seen the previous two movies you know what to expect.

Last Christmas, my little sister received a new iPod Touch from my parents. I help her to put movies to iPod with the free ipod touch converter. We had a good holiday. Many wonderful family and children's movies have been made about the most wonderful time of the year. But if you think those are not good enough, you are welcome to leave me a message.
