Babul Bansal's Story

The Journey So Far:
Its been great. The competition is tough but we are given every chance to grow. What I have realized is that the knowledge, experience and opportunities are extensive out there. It been how much you can grasp/hold.
Job Profile:
I am a Systems Engineer and has been actively involved in various cloud computing Proof-of-Concepts and production projects. I am into research as well and has published various technical papers in journals and conferences.
The Decisions That Matter
Location is not a constraint for learner. I always have the knack of learning. I moved from Delhi to Kerala for important project and currently on a consulting assignment only for a very interesting project.
Career Profile:
I am into a developer/administrator roles. My responsibilities include giving consultancy on Amazon Web Services cloud, grooming junior level employees, providing cloud computing and Big Data training and developing/administrating various applications on Cloud and Big Data.
Working Life Management:
My idea is to implement some ideas of my work into my personal life and some ideas of my personal life into my work. That doesn't allow me to feel if I am at my home or at my work. Time management is a very important part of your life.
Done Differently:
I believe is basics. If your foundation is strong building over it will be much stronger. I will try to cover such other basics too which I have left.
Plans For The Future:
I would love to become a part of senior level management where I can be an important decision maker of my organization and help in growing them more.
Prized Accomplishment(s):
I am being recognized in my company for my helping, hard working and never say die attitude.
Changes In The Professional Environment:
I joined IT 3-years back. The technical jargon has been increased extensively and rapidly. The competition is tough in the market due to increasing demand of Cloud Computing/Big Data technologies. That's why Professionally and Technically has to more sound and on their toes at every moment.
Growth Strategy:
I tried to be updated as much as I can with the current technical advancements. I like to read research papers also to get the idea of a thoughtful thinker.
Other Thoughts:
Whether it is SiliconIndia or any other company, everyone wants to grow. The growth is always depend on the talent you have. The talent comes only by giving opportunities. The opportunities can be given if you have a brave heart of taking risks.
Required Reading:
I always recommend the Upcoming Professionals to choose one line of interest and read everything on that. Try to get the hold of that such like in your sleep also you can feel it. :-)
Advice For New Professionals:
Learn and share your knowledge. Don't keep it to yourself. Be a responsible citizen.
