The Journey So Far:
Long journey so far. Started career with Uncle Chipps & served for 7 top leaders on various positions with a rising career graph. The corporates, I worked with are - Dr Jain Video On Wheels, Triton Communications, Lintas(Linterland), IL&FSETS, Reliance BIG TV and Dun & Brandstreet & currently M&M AS
Job Profile:
My role is to Activate Brands in various geographies in India. I am responsile for the below the line communication for all Mahindra & Mahindra Auto brands.
The Decisions That Matter
Leaving Dun & Bradstreet(D&B) and joining Mahindra & Mahindra. I was heading Rural Marketing & Events in D&B and have done a great job in my 15month stint. Career was on the fast track and getting global recognition in the system. Quitting when you are settled, stable & on top gives a great feeling.
Career Profile:
This is a bigger profile with many regular new launches. Earlier I was either providing solutions to a set of my customers and or promoting my internal brands / products but now handling 16 odd brands for their market activation plan & executions with the target of getting best by spending less.
Degrees That Matter:
I guess Doctorate in Rural Marketing or Market Activation for smaller markets
Done Differently:
Understand the work, scope, resources, will prepare myself with proper business sence. I mean complete preparation and then start.
Plans For The Future:
Senior Consultact in industry for Brand Communication, Activation and Rural Marketing. I would also like to share my knowledge by teaching above mentioned and marketing topics to the management & Marketing students.
Prized Accomplishment(s):
(i) Grown up in a tinny place on the map of India, a Hindi medium Science graduate
wokred with India's few top ranked companies
(ii) Setting up Rural Marketing team in D&B and done Rs 10 Cr business in a years time.
Changes In The Professional Environment:
Vast change in work philosophy & environment. Earlier the industry was focussed on quality & processes, things were slowtrack because of non availability of fast communication mediums. Now everyone wants results in seconds, this is possible due to internet, growith of telecom & narrowing distances.
Growth Strategy:
I meet senior executives & achievers, observe them while on work, their behaviour, decision making process, man management etc..I do attend seminars and workshops to keep myself updated on industry and try to improvise my capabilities on personal and professional front.

Any business magazine, reviews or journals. Knowledge is everywhere ... keep grabbing
Role Model:
I don’t have any one role model in my life. But there are 5 – 6 of them, who always inspire me.
