Deep Tej's Story

Job Profile:
I am the CEO of PortaEnterprise. I helped found the company over 10 years back in the US. As the CEO I manage the organization, its major accounts and guide the company towards the strategic direction we have decided upon as a team. We have over 1900 employees worldwide and it a team effort.
The Decisions That Matter
It was my passion for knowledge that kept me acquiring degrees and working in a wide spectrum of jobs. Money and physical assets have never motivated me. I think I am a much happier person given that I have limited my physical assets. I keep my carbon footprint to a minimum by using public transport
Degrees That Matter:
I personally do not recommend degrees and certificates as they are just paper. I do not believe in them. This must seem ironic as I have two under-graduate and two masters degrees. Education helps open the mind and ones degrees are instrumental in opening doors !

Required Reading:
Read. Just read. Once you read you will discover the sheer pleasure of reading and living life through another's eyes and words.
Role Model:
There are several, but a few come to my mind: Nelson Mandela, Azim Premji and Barack Obama. They worked their way to the top of their careers irrespective of their personal situations. It was their firm belief in themselves and their goal that kept on the straight and narrow path to success.
