Job Profile:
My job responsibility is to look into the sales & business of the company by promoting their pharma brands to the doctors & hospitals.To organize the field forces, train them, motivate, looking into the logistics of the area, revenue earnings for the company,product promotion, planning & operation.
Career Profile:
In pharma sales & marketing, roles basically of all the field employees are the same& only changes as per the hierarchy.The first managers have the roles to be played on a limited heads by controlling them where as the roles played by the subsequent up line managers are the same with increasing one
Degrees That Matter:
Only science graduate & a certification in sales & marketing will do
Working Life Management:
I have been continuously working & the home front has been managed by my better half. The dedication & support has been from my family end also.

It would have been totally different.

Don't know. As the situation has already changed in the pharma sector.

Being made a history in becoming the no. one position in various laces & position in phama sales for 25 years.

My career life was a real struggling one though I have created a history in the pharma industry by being topped in sales 25 times in my total 33 years of service served i many companies.At the starting of my career in pharma sales the overall situation were different & now it has been changed totaly
Growth Strategy:
Learn more day by day & work religiously. Learn how to control more efficiently down the line & up the line. Work for the welfare of your subordinates & profitability of your company.
Other Thoughts:
Be honest in your work. Any work done ethically & religiously & enjoyed are sure to give positive results.
Required Reading:
Though books of Phillips Kotler & Peter decker are being recommended but practical knowledge is must & absolutely must in the field & off the field. Paper works are necessary.
