Aakansha Barnwal's Story
The Journey So Far:
I have been in teaching from two years after my b.tech & i found many things that I have learnt being a teacher. I have learnt how to listen to the crowd & how to manage your team where you work & how to lead your team towards success.
Job Profile:
I am working as a lecturer in an engineering college. My role here is to enhance the technical skills of my students as well as my secondary role is to build up their confidence n encourage them to enhance their other skills like sports, cultural by participating in different activities.
The Decisions That Matter
I have made an important decision of taking Engineering as my Graduation discipline after 12 & now i think that I had made a right choice.
Career Profile:
I am working as a lecturer in an engineering college and here I believe my main role is to enhance the technical skills of my students. Besides this role, I believe that I must encourage my students to enhance there Personality, Non- Technical skills like in sports, cultural activities etc.
Done Differently:
I would put all my efforts to learn the things what I will be working upon so that I can give results expected. In short I would try Smart working with Hard work.
Plans For The Future:
I see myself to that place where I can work satisfactorily n enhancement of my skills can be done so that I can learn things.
Prized Accomplishment(s):
I had organized a fest in the present institute where I take lectures. There were no other Faculties to be in the list of organizer. Only a team of students I was having & That Fest was a Grand success.
Growth Strategy:
I am doing my best to ensure that i continue to grow and develop as a leader. I am doing according to the students what they want, how they are developing themselves n encouraging them to participate everywhere so that they can maintain their cofidence level.
Required Reading:
I would recommend books & publications with clear logic and simple language so that students wont suffer. and websites like Wikipedia, answers.com, websites with knowledge on their subjects.
Role Model:
My Role model is my father & I adore him because the enthusiasm, Zeal, smart working I find in him towards his work is hard to find anywhere.
