Brief description about me
I am a Srilankan Tamil. A retired director of a company. Presenly living in Colombo. Birthplace is Jalpanam (Jaffna). Photography is my hobby. Visits UK about Once in two years to be with my son and family.
Initiative to develop a country
Most of the professionals are selfish and self centered. They run away to foreign countries. They must set a side a part of their earnngs to educate the poor and the needy so that the may stand on their own feet.Incidently the gold availble in the temples should be made use of to establish industries in a co-operative manner. Part of the earnings may be given back to temples. Keeping the money and other wealth in lockers is a crime against humanity.Serve the poor and the Gods will look after themselves and their devotes.
My achievements
As a dramatist when young.Helping the under dog and helping my assistance to achieve. I am proud to receive a word of "thanks" from those who have achieved.
Thoughts on Education system of our country
Education system essentially serves the rich and the famous. However there are few who by their hard work has reached the top of the ladder but some push the ladder back. India's literacy rate should be at least 75%. This could be achieved only by opening more and more village schools with the wealth from temples. What is the wealth of all the Temples put together?

Being honest at all times is difficult. But its worth it. But you can never be an AMBANI or KARUNANITHI. Never try to imitate but try and initiate.

Qualities needed to become a successful leader
DECENCY-DUTY-DISCIPLINE and HONESTY. But I wonder whether this will work in India and other Asian Countries. Some people rob and become leaders and others become leaders and then rob. India has enough and more of both these categories.
Ensuring success
Asindicated I am retired. After retirement Iwas engaged with a NGO as a Senior Consultant to assist the Tsunami victims and the like' But the Srilankan government put a stop to it to prevent help to the Tamils. Presently I am in the process of helping the aparment dwellers to get out of the clutches of the builders who continue to cheat.
More about myself
I cannot understand as to why the Indian politicians are so corrupt from the top to bottom? I am deeply dissapointed with your government's attitude twads the Srilankan Tamils. India and Srilanka are jointly responsible for the murder and human rights abuses that previaled during the war and after.
Perhaps that is why India is soft pedaling the issue. If Tamils are strong in Srilanka, China may not have had a foot hold in Srilanka. The Tamils had great respect a love towords India in the past. Not any more unless India is honest and sincere in helping the Tamils to live as equals with the Sinhalese. Srilanka will flirt with China only if India is afraid to do the right approach.
