The Journey So Far:
joined as a GET, in the year 1983, in an Indo-American JV (Ford & NewHolland brands) in tractor marketing and grew to head of marketing in 16 years...did consulting in between for 2 years. Then moved as JCB India and headed Product Support, Parts Ops and Training - turned Consultant-Entrepreneur..

Moving from corporate world, after 20 years of working in Sales, Marketing, Operations to Consulting in HR.
Career Profile:
Currently I'm Managing Director - founder, entrepreneur, founder, start-up initiator, consultant, responsible for running the show and champion of all functions - BD, Operations management, HR, Commercials, Finance & Accounts, client servicing, mentor and coach.Previous profile-Director Marketing.
Degrees That Matter:
UG & PG degree in HR, Psychology, HR. And certficate/diploma in human profiling.
Working Life Management:
Only work work when my body & mind says yes..sleep for an hour after lunch. spend time with my son come what, when he is in town. Have not allowed business to dictate my life priorities...sleep everyday for 8 hours...respond to all my mails everyday same day, 100% without fail
Done Differently:
Will manage my team members and human resources differently..will be more customer oriented and focus on business growth....
Plans For The Future:
Not to work for survival...do what i enjoy - for a limited period in a year, hours in a day. Travel and see the world. Establish and run an Old Age Home where people live a young life - with 100% my own funds and no contribution from govt/institutions.
Changes In The Professional Environment:
Yes, IT & technology has changed the way we work...everything has moved from manual to IT driven...business is 100% done thru emails, skype, video conferencing, automation in business process - IT enabled (software)..ERP.
Growth Strategy:
Reading, interacting with youngsters, use google baba regularly, keep on evolving business processes, understanding existing customer's changing needs and identify the opportunities in unmet needs. Open mind and always seeking feedback from everybody - implement changes on ongoing basis.
Other Thoughts:
I am 16 at heart..I can be child, adult, parent at the same time..
