The Journey So Far:
I started to learn Design when I was 15. I was doing my high school & graduation at the same time. By the time I was 17, I started as a Jr. Trainer for web and design. I continued to be a trainer for about 4 years till I got Graduated. I am 23 now, doing Interaction Design.

Working Life Management:
I enjoy my work. That keeps me excited and going.
Done Differently:
I would probably go to a Design School. But, It doesn't matter much. I found a little late what I wanted to do, but the path I took lead me there. so, No Regrets.
Plans For The Future:
I aspire to be a web entrepreneur. I wish to speak in conferences too.
Changes In The Professional Environment:
The web world has moved towards an open culture. You are free to work in your own way. It spurs creativity, leading to a better productivity. UX Design is creative field. You cannot be chained down in tie and jacket to create some breathtaking experience we see. Google & Facebook are best examples.
Growth Strategy:
I don't do anything different. I just ensure that I am reading, staying up with the industry and implementing what I know. Learn from past experiences and explore. I get huge inspiration from Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, and some other greats in the Industry.
Required Reading:
I am a fan of 'The Elements of User Experience Design' by Jesse James Garrett. Universal Principles of Design is another great book. I visit www.dribbble.com for inspiration, www.smashingmagazine.com, www.boxesandarrows.com, www.uxmatters.com, and the W3C specs for html5 & CSS3.
Advice For New Professionals:
Do what you love. I am a follower of Steve Jobs. If you don't love what you do, you would never be happy & satisfied. No matter what you do, give your best shot, do it as it was supposed to be your best work till date.
