The Journey So Far:
My journey in the corporate world has been a learning experience as well as an eye-opener in various aspects. It has helped me develop not only as a professional but also an an individual. I still have a long way to go as I believe the journey has just begun and lots to learn as I go along the way.
Career Profile:
My current role is to builds client relationship by acting as the interface between the clients and the development teams. It involves working with clients to identify their needs and work out how we can best meet those requirements.
The previous role was more content related.
Working Life Management:
Time management is essential to maintain the 'work-life' balance. Pre-planning of tasks , efficient work techniques, and following the process helps maintain the balance.
The ability to draw a line between ones work and their personal life is also an important factor.
Growth Strategy:
Ensuring that I continue to give my 100% to my work along with learning from my past experiences. I also have setup quarterly KRAs for my role. This helps me stay focused on my goals and ensure a smooth growth path ahead.
Required Reading:
I would not recommend any particular book per say but would lay stress on being 'up-to-date' with the changes and development in the technological world. Websites like Techcrunch and Mashable cover this well enough. Extensive and continuous research is also very important.
Role Model:
I personally do not believe in a particular role model. I have drawn my inspiration from people around me who influence my life on a daily basis.
