Siddhish Sutaria's Story

The Journey So Far:
I started my company with my partner Rahul patel at an investment of 60000 Rs.We wanted to launch and product but eventually started embedded services due to financial reasons. With 2-3 customer we are pretty slow but our only target is so sustain and create expertise.
Job Profile:
We are very small company working on embedded software development for IP cameras. I work and Manager, developer and sales person to get work for our developers. Being a small company its very challenging to get quality work done by our people. I have to pay full attention and give technical guidance
The Decisions That Matter
I left my job at age of 26 during recession of 2009.One of my senior told me if you ever want to try business recession is best time to start. After recession you can have option of continuing business or going back to JOB. So go for it. Having my marriage near i left job without any idea.
Done Differently:
I would try to get more experienced and financially sound people then me on-board as partners, try to come to common point and start from there with my current partner and workforce. I would also try to learn certain technical aspects in my life.
Prized Accomplishment(s):
Without anything in hand or any-type of backing i am give my people salary according to market standard , and earn money as per my experience level in industry.
Growth Strategy:
Frankly speaking i believe to grow one have to invest more and more money. At present my primary focus is to sustain the organisation and employees and give quality work to customers. I used to go to all sorts of sites and conferences to get more knowledge. But currently not focusing on growth.
Other Thoughts:
Do what you think. Even a failure will teach you. Do not think of society. There would be lots of people supporting in your initiative.
Required Reading:
I would recommend, www.techcrunch.com, www.linkedin.com, www.siliconindia.com. Magazines would differ from industry to industry
Advice For New Professionals:
Try to keep your mind open. Grab as many things as possible from seniors and colleagues. Try to understand the motive of what your do in company. Always be happy and open to serve customers. On other side i believe little gossip is also helpful to understand certain things.
Role Model:
I try to find good qualities from everyone around me and whom i know. No one in general inspires me a lot but i learn lots of things from each and every people. Even the most controversial celebrities and most corrupt people teaches you something. You have to grab only good things.
