The listof America's 20 worst ever CEOs, compiled by business magazine Conde NastPortfolio after consulting with a panel of business school professors,identifies the business "leaders who helped drive their companies into theground.

These 20 include "six men who helped make today's economy stink", the magazine said. Here is the list of the top twenty worst ever CEOs. Take a look

1.     Dick Fuld - Designation: CEO of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc

2.     Angelo Mozilo - Designation: Chairman and CEO of Countrywide Financial.

3.     Ken Lay - Designation: He was the CEO and chairman of Enron Corporation 1995 until his resignation on January 23, 2003, except for a few months in 2000 when he was chairman and Jeffrey Skilling was CEO.

4.     Jimmy Cayne - Designation: Former CEO of Bear Stearns.

5.     Bernie Ebbers - Designation: Former CEO of telecommunications company WorldCom

6.     Al Dunlap - Designation: Known as a business downsizer and headed firms like Scott Paper and Sunbeam – Oster

7.     Fred Joseph - Designation: Formerly CEO of Drexel Burnham Lambert and COO of Shearson Hammill & Company

8.     Jay Gould - Designation: Former CEO of American financier

9.     John Patterson - Designation: Sales Strategy of the National Cash Register Company
