Manmohan Singh and Justice
Though Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson UPA, Manmohan Singh, PM of India and other prominent advocates of ruling party have been promising since long to make existing laws more and more effective and strict so that corrupt officers and corrupt politicians are punished in the shortest possible period, their actions shows that ruling party is actually meant for corrupt politicians, corrupt businessmen and corrupt officers in the administration..
Present government is made for corrupt politicians and by corrupt politicians. They have awarded EX CM of Maharashtra through his elevation as cabinet minister who is one of the main accused in Adarsh Society apartment case. Their advocate MP Kapil Sibal has blamed honest CAG for giving improper reporting on assessment of loss to government in 2G spectrum case. They have not yet removed CVC despite remarks by Supreme Court on appointment of a tainted CVC. Government has failed to punish corrupt bank officials who have caused loss of image in bribe led lending case exposed in the recent past. Government has failed to punish corrupt officials involved in CWG scam. Government is concealing the name of persons who are account holders and depositors of huge black money in foreign banks .And so on …
In each and every serious case of mass concern , either related to corruption or related to inactive CBI or related to murder or rape case pertaining to high profile person ,it is only high Court and Supreme Court judges who take the initiative to instruct the government to do this or to do that. Manmohan Singh is dancing as puppet either as per wishes of Sonia Gandhi or as per orders of Supreme Court or keeping mum on the issues which are related to corruption charges leveled against minster and MPs of the ruling party or on issues related to price rise or terrorism.
Ruling party had promised in the past to bring about appropriate judicial reform through necessary amendment in the Laws but failed to do anything in this regard. People of India had many expectations from clean image and great economist PM Mr. Mamohan Singh, but it is painful that their all dreams are still unfulfilled and there is no hope of achievement of dreamt goal under his tenure in future also.
Rather policies of liberalization, privatization, globalization under the umbrella of reformation launched in 1991 have proved a curse for common men and a boon for rich class people in the country.PM is talking of GDP growth contributed by a few lacs of rich people and ignoring the pain of one billion people of India who are unable to afford even simple “Roti, Kapra aur Makan”. Even Simple meal, simple living place simple cloth, primary health care, primary quality education and plain justice for respectful living have gone beyond the reach of common men but our learned and economist PM fill proud of so called GDP growth and talk of India’s growth story every time he comes on the stage or dais either in India or in foreign country..
So called Growth Story narrated by PM is really a curse for common men who voted him to power. It is pity that common men can neither recall corrupt MP or ineffective PM nor can punish for their bad works through court of law.
Common men paid for pseudo secularism for five years during UPA one rule and they are paying for pseudo secularism and they will continue to pay for pseudo secularism under UPA second. Congress Party if fact is the greatest communal minded political party and hence to conceal own guild they continue to blame BJP just as a thief after committing crime of stealing cries loudly “chor, chor chor”.
Similarly whenever people of India or media men accuse the ruling party of perpetrator of corruption or responsible for price rise or terrorism or naxalism, advocates of congress party like Kapil Sibal or Digvijay Singh or ManishTiwari or M Singhwi will talk of secularism and initiate blame game with BJP in usual style.
Judicial reformation or prompt delivery of justice through Indian courts has therefore become a dream. Labour exploitation has become the rule of the day. Price rise has become a curse on poor Indians. Safety of India is directed and meant as safety of VIP people , not common men. Education and that too quality education and higher education is affordable for rich segment of society which constitutes hardly 5% of population. This is India’s growth story which is ridiculed by majority of Indians but leaders are singing this tune as pide piper used to do.
