As a result, Systems Thinking enables our students to understand how organizations and other complex systems really function, change their own thinking to match the way such systems operate, change their behaviour so that they are working with these complex forces instead of against them to create what they deeply desire, develop greater appreciation for the impact of their strategies on others in the system, be aware of the impacts of time delays and the need to balance short-term and long-term objectives and strategies, anticipate unintended consequences of well-intentioned strategies, appreciate the power of holistic approach to problem solving.Together with vipassana meditation, pranayama and other processes of the institute and rigorous inputs in systems thinking, SCMLD students will commit fewer mistakes when it comes to decision making in life, career, relationships and profession. This can help in developing breakthrough vision for problem solving and proactive initiatives.
