How to burn Canon, Sony, Panasonic MXF to DVD with iDVD

As a free DVD Creation software application, iDVD is widely used by Mac users. iDVD allows the user to add QuickTime Movies, MP3 music, and digital photos to a DVD that can then be played on a commercial DVD player.

The powerful DVD creation program uses the concept of themes to allow the easy creation of DVD menu systems. The themes have 'drop zones', onto which movies or photographs can be dropped. The theme automatically animates the drop zones if necessary.

It is often considered the last step of Apple's iLife suite, bringing together all the other iLife applications' results onto a removable medium.

However, when you record some HD MXF videos with your Canon, Sony, Panasonic camcorders, you will find that MXF can not be imported to iDVD for burning as below.

Q1: How can I burn MXF to DVD with iDVD?

I have a MXF camera and I want to burn to DVD via iDVD, but it wont let me put the video type into the only free DVD creation software (iDVD)?

Q2: iDVD that works with MXF camcorders?

So I got a Sony Professional MXF Camcorder and I’m trying to burn the footage to DVD disc with iDVD, but the videos will not work with.

How to resolve these problems and import MXF to iDVD for editing? One of my friends provides me a MXF to iDVD Converter for Mac which he tried very great. I download the free trial and found it's very easy to use, and can convert Canon, Sony, Panasonic MXF to MOV, DV, MPEG-4, etc which supported by iDVD. Then you can easily burn MXF to DVD via iDVD on Mac. So I bought it without any hesitating. If you have the same problem with me, maybe you can try it. Hope it can help you.
